Met this woman and her trained capybara today in Austin. (gotta love Austin!) I did some capy training at a zoo where I consulted. Caplin Rous here is the only other one I have seen trained for education programs.

Otter at London Zoo going circus with a small white rock earlier today. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Check out the way she puts so much effort into balancing the rock. I have more footage of this, and of her working on an escape route via a loose bit of glassware on the edge of the pool (to the otter pond!!). Please rate the video so I get an idea of whether you want more.

A blue and gold macaw wants so badly to go to dog daycare that he brings his “master” his slippers from the upstairs closet, and even brings him a dog leash.
